The solar charge controller is used to regulate the power flowing from the photovoltaic panel into a rechargeable battery. It features easy setup with one potentiometer for the float voltage adjustment, an equalize function for periodic overcharging, and automatic temperature compensation for better charging over a range of temperatures.

They are fully protected against lightning, transient over voltage and reverse current flow. Other important features include silent, solid state Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) charging with three-stage control, temperature compensated set points and auto / manual equalization. A second range of Solar Charger Controller has a built-in MPPT microprocessor which enables Charge Controller to increase energy transfer efficiency upto 30% compared to traditional charge controllers.
