Cautions on UPS
The UPS contains potentially hazardous voltages. So do not attempt to open the unit. This unit contains no user serviceable parts. All repairs and services should be performed by factory trained Customer Support Engineers only.
Do not remove or unplug the input cord when UPS is turned ON. This removes the safety ground from the UPS and the equipment connected to the UPS.
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, install the UPS in a temperature and humidity controlled, indoor environment, free of conductive contaminants.
Do not use extension Boards.
Keep liquids and foreign objects away from the UPS.
Install the UPS in a well ventilated area. Do not block air vents or air exhausts on the front or rear of the UPS.
Do not operate the UPS near gas, electric or other heat sources. Avoid operating the UPS in direct sunlight.
Do not connect the appliances such as space heaters, vaccum cleaners, hair dryers, into the UPS receptacles.
Do not allow any foreign objects or water to get inside the UPS. Do not keep any objects on the unit.
Do not switch ON 100 % load simultaneusly. Switch ON the Loads sequentially.
Provide Good and live Input Earthing for U.P.S.
Cautions on Batteries
Batteries can present a risk of electrical shock or burns from high short circuit current.

Do not dispose off battery in fire, the battery may explode. Proper disposal of batteries is required.
Never open or multilate the batteries. Release electroyte is harmful to the skin and eyes. May be extremely toxic.
The batteries will eventually become very weak. For their replacement; the person should be familiar with the dangers pf batteries. When replacing the batteries. Use same numbers and same A.H./ type of batteries as were originally connected to the UPS.
If the batteries are TUBULAR / AUTOMATIVE. Proper ventilation should be provided and prescribed maintenance of batteries is required.
The SMF batteries do not require maintenance. Do not operate an unloaded UPS on battery for long periods due to this it may shorten battery life.
Do not remove single battery or anynos. Of battery for charging separately or discharging. Battery charging is in built with UPS.
